Can you tell us a bit about your background and the journey that led you to develop Ladies Lifestyle Network?
My name is Kacey Johnson, and I’m originally from Northern Virginia (NOVA). I’ve lived all over the world but finally settled outside of Charlotte in 2019, when I was pregnant with my first baby! I’ve always been a connector and a lover of women—our strength, grit, and resilience are truly inspiring. I absolutely love hearing everyone’s stories.
Ladies Lifestyle Network was born in July 2019, with our launch event in September of that same year. I started this network because I felt we needed a space where women could truly shine—shine as business owners, as speakers, as leaders, and as women of value who support one another in their local community.
Since then, we’ve expanded into 14 other cities across the East Coast and Texas, with even more locations launching in early 2025. We’ve also introduced the Latinas Lifestyle Network chapter here in Charlotte, where everything is conducted in Spanish—from speeches and vendor communications to social media and website features—catering specifically to our Latina female community.
My goal was to create spaces and events that women look forward to attending because they know they’ll learn something new, support a local nonprofit, and uplift local businesses, all while connecting with like-minded ladies.
Ladies Lifestyle Network was born from this vision, and we’re just getting started!
For those who may not be familiar with Ladies Lifestyle Network, how would you describe the organization and its mission?
Ladies Lifestyle Network is a women’s empowerment, personal development, and professional networking community! We host monthly in-person events that feature a local expert female speaker on relevant topics, highlight a local nonprofit (with a portion of ticket sales donated to their cause), and showcase local businesses as sponsors and vendors.
In addition to our events, we have a vibrant online community where we spotlight local women and businesses on our social media accounts and national blog.
Our mission is to positively impact as many women as possible by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and connections they need to elevate their lives—both personally and professionally—in a supportive and fun environment!
Could you highlight some of the key events and activities that the Ladies Lifestyle Network organizes?
As I mentioned earlier, we host events every month—some of my favorites have been our Magnetic Mentalities Summit, our Getting Confident with Your Content: 5-Year Anniversary Social, and, most recently, our Platforms for a Purpose event! One of my favorite aspects of our events is featuring and giving back to a local nonprofit.
Our final event of 2024 is a festive Holiday Night Market Sip & Shop happening on December 5th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at Protagonist in LOSO. Tickets are only $5, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to victims of Hurricane Helene through the Boone Chamber of Commerce Organization. This event will feature local women-owned businesses and include a BYO Flower Bouquet station so you can take home a beautiful arrangement!
We’ll kick off 2025 in January with one of our signature Social events featuring an incredible local speaker. You can grab your tickets at www.ladieslifestylenetwork.com.
Since its inception, the Ladies Lifestyle Network has expanded impressively, with chapters in other states like Florida, Texas, and Virginia. What factors do you consider when choosing new cities for expansion, and is there a particular city or state you'd love to see for your next chapter?
Yes, it’s been so exciting to see this community grow in other locations! There’s a quick application to fill out on our website, followed by an interview with me so we can get to know each other better.
I’m always looking to launch new chapters and seeking women as directors who are passionate about cultivating a supportive and empowering community for local ladies. I’m especially looking for women who are outgoing, ambitious, and love hosting events! This opportunity is also fantastic for women who own their own businesses, as it connects them with so many new women in their local community on a monthly basis.
I’d love to launch chapters in Raleigh, NC; Charleston and Greenville, SC; Orlando and Tampa, FL; Knoxville and Nashville, TN; and Dallas and San Antonio, TX.
You can find the application on our website.
Many Front Row Charlotte readers are new to the city and eager to make friends, though stepping into new social events can be intimidating when you don’t know anyone. What advice would you offer to someone who thinks the Ladies Lifestyle Network sounds amazing but might feel nervous about attending an event?
Oh, I totally understand, but what I always say is: just get in the room! Our events are some of the most supportive and welcoming for women in Charlotte (our vendors and attendees have told me this time and time again).
We’re all there with the same goal: to connect, empower ourselves, and support local businesses and each other. Don’t let your nerves get the best of you—grab a ticket, and feel free to bring a friend if you’d like! But don’t worry if you come solo; you’re sure to meet someone new at our events!
Finally, is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers about Ladies Lifestyle Network? And where can people follow you to learn more about upcoming events?
I’d like to thank everyone who has read this far—this dream and vision of mine has grown so much over the years, and 2025 is going to be a big year for us with many exciting new offerings for our community!
I absolutely love seeing the Charlotte community grow into this beautiful container of support and empowerment. It’s also such a joy to launch and train new directors to bring that same energy to their own cities!
